Capitol Day 2025

On May 12, 2025, more than 40 advocates representing 22 cross-sector organizations from across the Commonwealth joined the PA Literacy Coalition at the Pennsylvania State Capitol.

Together, they called for stronger policies and increased funding to support evidence-based literacy instruction and teacher training. Throughout the day, advocates held over 70 meetings with legislators and staff from 40 counties.
