Outcomes are even lower for students from historically marginalized communities. This is not just an education issue—it’s a workforce, equity, and economic issue with lifelong consequences.
Who We Are
Launched in 2025, the PA Literacy Coalition is a nonpartisan, cross-sector network of educators, caregivers, advocates, and community leaders working to end Pennsylvania’s literacy crisis through strong policy, sustained investment, and effective implementation.
